What findable collects

findable connects to your Shopify store via Shopify’s Admin GraphQL API and reads your product catalog (titles, descriptions, tags, attributes, images, alt text, metafields). We compute a score per product and store the score, the reasons it was flagged, and a hash of the scored fields. We do not access customer data, order data, or payment data.

What we send to third parties

When you click Generate rewrite, we send the product’s title, current description, type, tags, and (if available) top-scoring product samples from your catalog to Anthropic so their language model can produce a rewrite. Anthropic’s privacy terms govern that data once it’s on their side; per their public policy, API inputs are not used to train their models. We use Anthropic only — no data is sent to OpenAI, Google, or any other LLM vendor. (For what we ourselves keep after the call, see “What we store and where” below.)

What we store and where

Per-store: an installed-shop record with your store domain and current plan; one row per scan run; one row per product per scan with the score and reasons; one row per LLM rewrite (your request, the model’s response, whether you applied it). Stored in a SQLite database on our server with continuous encrypted replication for backup. We use Anthropic’s API only — no data is sent to OpenAI, Google, or any other LLM vendor.

Deletion

When you uninstall findable from your store, we receive a Shopify webhook and immediately mark your store as inactive. After 30 days (Shopify’s compliance window), we receive a shop/redact webhook and delete all of your store’s rows. You can also email hello@befindable.app to request immediate deletion.
